Moving to the Houston Area with School-Age Children?

If you're relocating to Houston or one of the surrounding communities, choosing the right home often involves much more than finding the perfect floor plan.

Many families are also trying to understand:

  • School district boundaries
  • Commute times
  • Neighborhood amenities
  • Parks and recreation
  • Property taxes
  • HOA fees
  • New construction vs. resale homes
  • Proximity to shopping, restaurants, and healthcare

One important thing to know is that a city's mailing address doesn't always determine the school district.

For example, a home with a Spring mailing address may be zoned to Spring ISD, Klein ISD, Conroe ISD, or another district, depending on its location. The same can be true throughout many Houston-area communities.

Before purchasing or leasing a home, it's always a good idea to verify the assigned schools directly with the school district, as attendance boundaries can change.

Planning Your Move?

If you're thinking about moving to the Houston area, I'd love to help you explore neighborhoods that fit your lifestyle, commute, budget, and homeownership goals.

Whether you're relocating from another state or simply moving across town, my goal is to help you make an informed decision not just about the house, but about the community you'll call home.

If you have questions about neighborhoods, new construction, or the home-buying process, feel free to reach out. I'm always happy to help.

Wishing all of our students, teachers, administrators, and school staff a safe, successful, and exciting 2026–2027 school year.

Happy Back-to-School!

If you've been thinking about selling your home this year or even in the next few years you've probably noticed one thing: The Houston real estate market has changed.

Today's buyers have more choices. Inventory has increased. Interest rates continue to influence buyer behavior. While homes are still selling every day, the sellers who achieve the best results are the ones who prepare early and have a strategy.

That's exactly why I created this free Home Seller Workshop Series.

We'll cover topics like:

Current Houston housing market trends

What buyers are looking for in today's market

How to maximize your home's value

Pricing strategies that attract qualified buyers

Marketing strategies that help your home stand out

Common mistakes that cost sellers money

Live Q&A

You will l leave with practical tips you can apply immediately even if you are months away from selling.

Who Should Attend?

This workshop is perfect if you:

Are thinking about selling within the next 12 months

Want to understand how much your home may be worth

Want to maximize your equity

Have questions about today's market

Simply want to be prepared before making a move

Whether this is your first sale or your fifth, you'll walk away with a clearer understanding of today's Houston market.

The workshops are completely free and held virtually, making it easy to join from anywhere.

Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions most people will make.

My goal is to help you understand your options, answer your questions, and give you the information you need to make the best decision for you and your situation.

Whether you decide to move next month, next year, or simply stay where you are, I hope you'll leave feeling more informed and confident.

I look forward to seeing you at one of the workshops.
